Carlos Sainz, the esteemed Formula 1 driver, has found himself at the center of a heated contract negotiation as Audi has reportedly offered him a lucrative three-year deal. The move comes as the German automotive giant prepares to enter the sport in 2026 and is eager to assemble a formidable driver roster.

Sainz's current contract with Ferrari expires at the end of 2025, leaving him free to explore other opportunities. Audi's offer is believed to be significant, financially and in terms of the team's ambitions. The German manufacturer is reportedly willing to invest heavily in its Formula 1 program and has already secured the services of Andreas Seidl as Team Principal.

However, Sainz is also believed to be in talks with Red Bull and Mercedes, two of the most successful teams in Formula 1. Red Bull has reportedly offered Sainz a deal to replace Sergio Perez, while Mercedes is seen as a potential landing spot should Lewis Hamilton decide to retire.
