Game Summary
The Boston Celtics took Game One of the Eastern Conference Semi-Finals last night against the Cleveland Cavaliers at the TD Garden, prevailing 120-113. Jayson Tatum led the scoring for the Celtics with 25 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists. Darius Garland led the Cavs with 24 points.
The two teams traded baskets for much of the first half before the Celtics ended the third quarter with two quick baskets to take a 89-82 lead into the final frame. Cavs star Evan Mobley battled early foul trouble notching his fourth foul just before halftime. The Celtics did not miss a beat with Mobley on the bench however and continued to extend their lead.Cleveland came within four points in the final minute but ultimately could not get past the Celtics defense.
Game Two of the series will be played in Boston on Wednesday night.
